A Step Above Dance & Music Academy is a joyous and happening place, and there always are a range of things occurring. Some of the chief events of note are listed below:

A Step Beyond Dance Company attends Tremaine Dance
Convention and Competition!

A Step Beyond Dance Company is our competition team. In February we competed at Tremaine and our team did fantastic! We are so proud of all of our dancers. Our results this year prove that hard work, a positive attitude and of course fabulous dancers, teachers, and parents produce rewarding results!

The final competition results are:
We Bought a Zoo (TN Ballet Production): 1st Place
Ultimate Grand Supreme (TN Open Line): 2nd Place
Stand Out: (TN Jazz Line): 6th Place
Imperiatrix Mundi (TN Ballet Line): 1st Place
Tropical Anthem (TN Jazz Line): 4th Place
Sort Of (TN Contemporary Line): 3rd Place
Maybe (TN Contemporary Solo): 2nd Place
Forevermore (TN Jazz Duet): 1st Place
Beautiful Inside (SR Jazz Group): 4th Place
Ghost (SR Lyrical Line): 2nd Place
Safe (SR Lyrical Solo): 5th Place
Good Girl (SR Jazz Solo): 4th Place
Knowing When to Leave (SR Musical Theater Solo): 1st Place
Paralyzed (SR Ballet Solo): 1st Place

The final audition results are:
Dancers who made it through the ballet round are
Meghann Armstrong, Sydney Bruce, Lily Freeland, Holly Korfmacher, Avery Kuhlow, Allie Kunesh, Anna Mischio, and Hayley Stoneman!

Our dancer who made it through the jazz round into the finals are
Mackinley Dennis!

Our dancer Sam Gardner won a Tremaine scholarship this year!

We are so proud of all of our dancers and thought everyone danced spectacular this weekend!!
